My experience so far:
I got my blood vitamin and mineral levels checked and the only thing I was deficient in was vitamin D. My midwife recommended I take 5000 IU of vegan vitamin D each day. I take it in the form of a liquid drop, chewable, and pill. I?m also trying to spend more time outside now that I am past my morning sickness and it?s no longer 1000° in Los Angeles ? Note: most vitamin D supplements are not vegan because the hormone (yes, vitamin D is a hormone) is sourced from lanolin/wool. There are plenty of vegan vitamin D supplements, just be aware when you?re shopping.
